Two people have been charged after officers discovered cannabis in a car on the M6.
Police said they stopped the car on the motorway near Leyland in the early hours of yesterday (Tuesday, 5 March) and two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
Three large bags of cannabis were found in the boot of the vehicle.
Diet Van Nguyen, 29, and Dung Nguyen, 67, both of Sharratt Street, London have been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. Both will appear before magistrates this morning (Wednesday).
