A man is to face trial after pleading not guilty to assault offences.
Corey Woodhouse, 28, appeared at Burnley Crown Court charged on eight counts.
Woodhouse pleaded not guilty to four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, one count of strangulation, and one count of making a threat to kill.
These offences are alleged to have happened between January 1, 2023, and February 3, 2024.
He did, however, plead guilty to a separate offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on February 3 of this year, and to damaging a car window on the same day.
Judge Daniel Prowse set a trial date for July 30, and it is expected the trial will last two to three days.
Woodhouse, of Elmfield Street, Church, was remanded into custody until the trial.
