The terraced houses around Ewood Park had witnessed a great deal over the years but in 1992, a block of them on Kidder Street adjoining Blackburn Rovers’ ground was demolished.
It was all part of the club’s plans to improve facilities at Ewood Park and was a precursor to much larger redevelopment work over the following two years which would transform the ground. In the background you can see one of the floodlight towers.
Do you remember Ewood Park before the new stands were built?
