An East Lancashire animal sanctuary is on the hunt for a forever home for one of its rescue dogs who has spent almost half his life at the institution.
Husky-cross Tyson has spent 381 days at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Edenfield, and at the tender age of two he is seeking a proper home.
Tyson needs a husky-savvy family with no children or cats, but he could live with other dogs of a similar size.
Bleakholt say any potential owners would need to be active and have some experience with sled dog breeds, as Tyson would benefit from a home that enjoys an outdoor lifestyle.
Sanctuary manager Karen Weed said: "Tyson is a lovely boy who really enjoys exploring, playing and learning new things.
"He can be nervous of new people but once he knows you, he is a very loving cheeky boy."
