A 38-year-old male from Blackburn has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Today (Friday, February 23), Blackburn with Darwen Police executed a drugs warrant in the Audley area of Blackburn.
Police seized a quantity of cannabis and cash believed to be the proceeds of criminality.
He has since been interviewed and released under investigation.
A spokesperson for Blackburn with Darwen Police said: "Your BwD TaskForce team have today executed a drugs warrant in the Audley area of Blackburn, where we seized a quantity of cannabis and cash believed to be the proceeds of criminality.
"A 38-year-old male from the Blackburn area was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class B drugs, and has since been interviewed and released under investigation whilst we present the case to the Crown Prosecution Service for a charging decision.
"We often obtain warrants as a result of intelligence from the community, and it is clear that drug use and drug dealing is high on the priority list for most of our residents, so we will always act on the information you provide us with."
