A new family-run business serving jerk food items has recently opened at a pub in Blackburn.
Opening earlier this month, The Jerk'z Food Tent is a new food truck serving tasty treats such as chicken, burgers and curry at The Havelock Inn on Havelock Street.
On Saturday, February 10, the tent sold out of most of the menu, and only had hot dogs left.
Emma Louise Regan, owner of The Jerk'z, said: "We have spent many years loving good food and trying things out. Now, this is our new venture with my girls.
"We hope that you will come and enjoy our beautiful Caribbean food at The Havelock Inn, customers' support means everything.
"We are just trying to serve good food, but we are thankful for all the comments and beautiful feedback. It means the world."
The menu consists of items such as Caribbean smash burgers, fried jerk chicken, curried goat, seasoned fries and chickpea curry.
Side dishes include hot and fruity coleslaw and Caribbean chicken gravy and kids chicken strips with fries.
They also host weekly specials, such as crispy chicken, fries and gravy for £7.50.
The tent is open for the foreseeable weekends, Saturday and Sunday, and also matchdays at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park.
The Havelock Inn has also been featured as The Lancashire Telegraph's Pub of the Week.
Nicknamed 'the town's favourite public house', a newly built marquee at the pub was recently built to provide 'the best entertainment all year round', with its own bar and full outside heaters.
Upcoming entertainment at the pub consists of live music such as Celine Dion, Gary Barlow, Rod Stewart, and Freddie Mercury tribute acts.
The Inn also recently achieved the highest overall score for a 'Mystery Customer Visit' in the 'Incognito' mystery visitor programme for Thwaites Pubs.
Rachel Moorcroft commented on Jerk'z Facebook and said: "We ordered and it was delicious."
Maureen Wright wrote: "Mmmmmm. Looking delicious."
The Jerk'z is also available for delivery.
