A car has been seized after the driver admitted they had no insurance and only held a provisional licence.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was stopped on Hyndburn Road, Accrington, at around 10.30pm yesterday (February 14) due to the manner of her driving.
She then admitted to not having a full licence and not having insurance, and further checks showed the vehicle was on cloned plates.
A police spokesperson said: "The vehicle was sighted by RPU officers on Hyndburn Road in Accrington.
"Due to the manner of driving, the driver was spoken to, who admitted she was a provisional licence holder only and had no insurance.
"Further checks revealed the vehicle to be on cloned plates.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for summons for the offences."
