The emergency services were called to a road in Longridge today (February 8).
Two fire engines were called to Derby Road at around 1.25pm. The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
The incident involved one vehicle, which crashed into a stone wall.
Firefighters removed one casualty from the vehicle and handed them over to the care of paramedics.
Crews worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for forty minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 1.25pm on February 8, two fire engines from Longridge and Leyland attended a road traffic collision on Derby Road, Longridge.
“The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters extricated one casualty from the vehicle and handed them into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for forty minutes.”
A police spokesperson said: "This happened at about 1.15pm when a car left the carriageway and collided with a stone wall causing damage. No serious injuries were reported"
