The public has been urged to avoid an area of Samlesbury, as fire crews battle a building fire.
At around 12.32pm today (February 8), four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, Bamber Bridge and Darwen were called to a commercial building fire on Cuerdale Lane.
Crews remain in attendance. Fire fighters have warned the public to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 12.32pm on the February 8, four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, Bamber Bridge and Darwen attended a commercial building fire on Cuerdale Lane, Samlesbury.
“Firefighters are using a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera, a ground monitor and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance.
“Please avoid the area.”
