The police has warned motorists of severe delays on the A59 around Myerscough Smithy, due to a protest.
This is close to BAE Systems at the Samlesbury Aerodrome, where a protest is taking place.
Officers have put a statement out, urging motorists to allow extra time for their journey if travelling this way.
According to AA Traffic and Travel, there are delays of around 25 minutes in the area.
Traffic is currently stretched out from Preston New Road to Ribchester Road in Salesbury.
A police spokesperson said: “Please be aware of traffic delays on the A59 close to BAE Systems at Samlesbury. Please allow extra time for your journey if travelling this way.
"There’s a protest at BAE which was causing some traffic issues."
A spokesperson for AA Traffic and Travel said: “Slow traffic on A59 Myerscough Road eastbound. Congestion to A677 Preston New Road as traffic looks to join the A59. Travel time is around 25 minute.
“Average speed is 10mph.”
