Ordered 2 eggs benedicts 1 with bacon and 1 with mushrooms best we have ever tasted also ordered a side portion of roast potatoes which I had to bring home as we were so full. I can't recommend enough will definitely be bavk. Thank you for a lovely lunch”
Another wrote: “Excellent service and friendly staff. We were shown to our table and given a jug of iced water straight away (something all cafes should do, but many don't). The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it (my daughter and I had eggs benedict) and we loved the smoothies.
“It was our first visit but we have already decided to make it our regular cafe for lunch when shopping in Preston. It was very busy while we were there, which shows just how popular it is. I thoroughly recommend it!”

The Patten Arms
Location: Park Lane Winmarleigh, Preston, PR3 0JU
Tripadvisor rating: 5
One reviewer said: “We had a great lunch. Really good variety of food on the menu. We all had different starters which were excellent and 3 different choices for mains.
“The standard menu offered a good selection of dishes and the 'specials' offered even more choice. The portions were very generous so sadly we couldn't sample the deserts.
“The service was attentive and friendly. Will certainly look forward to returning.”
