An Aldi employee in Colne is celebrating his work anniversary after 20 years with the business.
Shaun Williams first joined the supermarket as a store assistant at Aldi’s Burnley store at the age of 19.
Assuming several roles since then, he now works as an assistant store manager at the North Valley Retail Park Store.
From taking part in charity events for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, to supporting fellow colleagues, Shaun is an integral part of Aldi’s Colne team.

A well-known face amongst colleagues and customers alike, Shaun has seen Aldi continue to grow and invest in the community over the years and become the UK’s fourth largest supermarket.
Commenting on his time at Aldi, Shaun said: “Starting my career at Aldi 20 years ago seems like a distant memory now and the years have flown by.
"One thing I remember clearly is the moment the Heywood Store hit a sales record which was a massive achievement – but most stores will have far superseded that now!”
When asked what the one Aldi product he couldn’t live without was, Shaun said: “The Specially Selected Prawn & Seafood Sandwich is a brilliant addition to the range.
"But I must admit, I’m also a sucker for a chunky chocolate biscuit (or two).”

Ruth Doyle, regional managing director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all of our colleagues and take great pride in celebrating their achievements.
“Colleagues like Shaun have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank him for his contributions.
“Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for.”
