The driver of an unattended vehicle will get a shock when he finds out police issued him with a traffic offence report for inconsiderate parking.
Officers in Blackburn noticed this vehicle, pictured, parked on a footpath on Preston New Road, with "little or no consideration for pedestrians".
The police say they are seeing an increasing number of incidents like this, where drivers are parking on footpaths without thinking whether other people walking along the road will be able to pass safely.
As a result, officers issued the car, which had been left unattended, with a traffic offence report.
A police spokesperson said: "We are seeing an increasing amount of vehicles parking on footpaths with little or no consideration for pedestrians.
"Please think of others when deciding where to park your vehicle.
