Several East Lancashire schools are closed today (January 17) due to the icy and cold weather conditions.
One school is also closed due to flooding.
On Tuesday, snow fell across the county leading to travel chaos and school closures.
Schools across Hyndburn, the Ribble Valley, Pendle and Rossendale, remain closed today.
Temperatures are set to dip as low as -5°C across the county today
