A man suffered serious injuries after crashing his moped into a wall on New Year's Day.
The incident happened in Blackburn Road, Higher Walton.
The moped left the carriageway and crashed with the wall.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and footage as part of an investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man was seriously injured in a collision on Blackburn Road, Higher Walton, on New Year's Day.
"A moped left the carriageway and collided with a wall.
"Email SCIU@lancashire.police.uk or call 101, quoting log 0186 of January 1."
