AN East Lancashire football stadium's fanzone can keep its existing five food and drink cabins and add a sixth.
Blackburn Rovers has been given approval to retain the temporary refreshment structures as its Ewood Park ground in Nuttall Street.
Planning permission has been granted by Blackburn with Darwen Council.
A report by planning officer Tom Wiggans recommending approval says: "This application relates to land within Blackburn Rovers fan zone, a hard surfaced area belonging to Blackburn Rovers Football Club, adjacent to the Blackburn (Northern) End of Ewood Park stadium.
"The proposal relates to the siting of six free standing wooden cabins for the supply of food, beverage, retail and hospitality within the Blackburn Rovers fan zone, which supplement the fan experience on match days.
"The cabins measure 2.7 metres by 2.4m with a dual pitched roof (1.8m high at the eaves, rising to 2.4m high at the central ridge), including a serving hatch to the front, and access door to the rear.
"Three of the cabins are clustered together to the side elevation of the Roverstore, with the other three cabins abutting the back of the Blackburn End Stand.
"At the time of the site visit, five of the six cabins were in situ, with only the easternmost cabin yet to be installed.
"The cabins are used on match days to serve refreshments to supporters.
"The cabins are appropriately sited, located within the secure confines of the existing fan zone of Ewood Park stadium, and do not themselves result in any increase in footfall, noise or disturbance, etc.
"The proposal is therefore considered acceptable
"The cabins, located within the existing fan zone, do not obstruct any access points, or adversely affect pedestrian or highway safety."
