Give us some history about the pub
Now being the only pub in the village and grade II listed, The White Bull has had many uses and many captains of the ship. The villagers are extremely supportive and are so appreciative to have it open and busy.
Is food served? Is so what’s on the menu?
Food is served seven days a week, we offer pub classics with a modern twist. Everything we serve is homemade and we strive to source all we can from local suppliers.
Is there a beer garden?
We have three large beer gardens so there is never any worry about missing the sun
Do you have any darts/snooker/pool teams
No
Most popular drink served is:
We have a reasonable wine offering and that with the gins are some of our biggest sellers
Have you faced any challenges within the industry
The pub had been closed for several months and before that had a dire reputation for both service and food so since opening in June it has been a hard slog to gain back the trust and customer base, this is all in addition to the cost of living constantly rising meaning getting those customers back in through the door has never been harder.
The best thing about running a pub is
Customer satisfaction and no day is the same.
The worst thing about running a pub is..
The challenges with cost of living, supermarkets offering drink so much cheaper
The perfect hangover cure is...
Hair of the dog
