Police have closed off access to a village while they deal with an incident.
Pendle Road in Downham is closed due to a police incident at the village hall.
This means there is currently no access to the village.
A police spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with an incident near Downham village hall.
“As a result, we have temporarily closed Pendle Road so there is no access to the village at this time.
“We will update you once the road has been reopened.”
Update: Police confirmed just before 9pm the road has reopened
