Pupils at a Blackburn primary school have presented £1,104 to Derian House Children's Hospice in the run up to Christmas.
Wensley Fold CE Primary Academy presented the cheque after a series of fundraising events at the school.
Pupils and staff joined parents to collect donations through a school bonfire, cake sales and biscuit sales over the last academic year.
Ann-Marie Fishwick Community Fundraiser from Derian House visited school to receive the cheque and share more details of how the money will be spent.
This year the school are raising for Children with Cancer UK in support of one of their school friends and The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of the school’s previous head teacher.
