Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to, following reports of indecent exposure at an Asda store in Clayton-le-Woods.
The incident happened shortly before midnight on December 5.
Police now wish to speak with the man in the image.
He is described as 6ft 3ins, white, with short dirty blond hair with short blond stubble.
Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch.
According to the police definition, Indecent exposure, legally called just 'exposure' and sometimes known as 'flashing', is when someone deliberately exposes their genitals in order to frighten or upset someone else.
Men and women can both commit indecent exposure. It can happen in public or in private
A police spokesperson said: “Do you recognise this man?
“We want to speak to him after an incident of indecent exposure at the Asda store in Clayton-le-Woods.
“The incident happened at shortly before midnight yesterday (Dec 5)
“The man is described as 6ft 3ins, white, with short dirty blond hair with short blond stubble.
“Anyone who recognises him or who has any information should call 101 quoting log 0002 of the 5th of December 2023 or email 6547@lancashire.police.uk.”
