A man is due to appear in an East Lancashire court next year after being charged with four historic rapes.
The man, Shelim Ahmed, from Rochdale, was charged by Lancashire Police as part of an investigation into allegations of historic sexual abuse.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We have charged a man as part of an investigation into allegations of historic sexual abuse.
"Shelim Ahmed, 36, of Corbett Street, Rochdale, has been charged with four counts of rape."
Ahmed will appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on January 24, 2024.
