A Lancashire restaurant with rooms features in a new list which combines the top 50 boutique hotels.
This is the third consecutive year that the list has been released and it’s curated and voted by leading industry experts, hoteliers, travel writers and influencers.
The Top 50 boutique Hotels 2023 span the full length and breadth of the UK from Cornwall, to Wales, to Scotland to Norfolk.
Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms in Ormskirk, Lancashire features in the list in 23rd place.
The restaurant has two Michelin stars and it’s said to boast “breath-taking gardens and glorious rooms”.
This venue has “seven ultra-luxurious bedrooms for guests to stay in”, according to Top 50 Boutique Hotels.
They added: “Five of the rooms are in Moor Hall itself, while two others are situated in the gatehouse by the grand lake. Each, however, is comfortable and cosy with individual designs to keep residents in a constant state of relaxation.”
The rooms are named after English fruits and “are sure to not disappoint and are well worth a few, or more, nights of anyone’s time.”
The Top 50 Boutique Hotels added: “The restaurant, headed by exceptionally talented chef-patron Mark Birchall, offers delicate produce-driven menus that have been inspired by the grand and natural surroundings of the hotel.
“Voted Restaurant of the Year at the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards in 2021, Moor Hall is something to be experienced at least once in your lifetime.
“You’ll find menus filled with the very best seasonal produce that have been cooked and served to perfection.
“To pair with the dishes, the restaurant’s knowledgeable sommeliers have also hand selected a range of wines to ensure your visit is the very best.
“Moor Hall will always go an extra step for its guests and can arrange most things for you, including airport and train station pickups. If you fancy taking things a little further, the venue can also arrange private helicopter charters for up to nine guests, or should you be interested in arriving by such a means, this is also possible.
“The facility is located close to the famous Open golfing venue of Royal Birkdale, as well as several other courses ranked among Britain’s Top 100 Gold Courses. If you’d like to arrange some time to play, then Moor Hall can also make this happen for its guests.”
