A road closure was in place following a car crash in Sabden.
At around 6.55pm yesterday (November 29), police were called to Simonstone Road near Brogden Farm following reports of a crash.
Two cars were involved in the crash. One person suffered a minor injury and police said they were "checked over by ambulance crew but didn’t need to go to hospital."
Police kept the road closed for some hours and advised drivers to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on Simonstone Road close to Brogden Farm in Sabden.
“The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
“We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.”
