A ‘beautiful’ young mum has died aged 33 after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jenna Wareing, the mother of Accrington Stanley’s Sean McConville’s three children, died yesterday morning (November 24).
The 33-year-old single mother from Liverpool was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2022 which then spread to her liver.
Last month, Jenna was told she had six months to live but was determined to “defy the odds” of her cancer diagnosis and do everything she possibly could to not let cancer control her life.

Jenna is the mother of three children with midfielder Sean McConville, 34, who joined Accrington Stanley in 2009.
A statement posted by Accrington Stanley FC said: “We are all absolutely devastated to hear that the mother of Sean McConville’s three children, Jenna, passed away this morning.
“We ask people to respect Sean’s privacy at this heartbreaking time and that of Jenna’s family.
“Sean wants to spend his energy helping their children cope with their beautiful mum’s death.
“Forever in our hearts Jenna.”
After five gruelling months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, Jenna booked a holiday with her two daughters, aged 10 and 14, and five-year-old son, to celebrate the end of her treatment.
While abroad, her scan results came back and showed she had secondary breast cancer which had spread to her liver.
A GoFundMe Page was created by Jenna’s friends and family after she was given her prognosis to try and raise funds towards private care at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
Her family wrote: “Jenna is an amazing mum to her three gorgeous children, and without this treatment they are going to be left without her.
“As most of us are now mums ourselves her courage and strength has astounded us and we want nothing more than to help her through the most difficult battle she has ever faced, but we need you to help us help her.”
Any donations left over are being placed in a trust fund for her three children. The page has more than £13,600 donations.
