Several residents in Clitheroe fell victim to thefts over the last week.
Police have increased the number of night time patrols to combat the spate of vehicle thefts in Clitheroe during the early hours of the morning.
Officers are urging residents to remain vigilant by removing valuables from vehicles and making sure they are locked properly.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Over the last week Clitheroe residents have been victims of a number of thefts from unattended motor vehicles and vehicle interferences.
“We have increased night time patrols to try and identify the offenders but please take an extra few minutes on an evening to remove your valuables from your vehicle and check it's secured.
“Most of these incidents have occurred in the early hours so if you see any suspicious activity please report via 101 or 999 for a crime in progress.”
