Burglars tried to gain entry to an Accrington flat using a key in the early hours and now police are appealing for information.
The attempted burglary was reported at Gladstone Heights, on Eagle Street.
According to police this occurred on Saturday, November 18, at around 12.35am.
The offenders approached the front door and attempted to open it with a key. They did not gain entry.
Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “You are receiving this message to make you aware of an attempt burglary at a flat in Gladstone Heights in Accrington.
“The incident occurred on Saturday, November 18 at approximately 12.35am.
“The offenders have approached a front door and have tried to open it using a key, no entry has been gained."
