Customers have shared their excitement as a popular country pub in Clitheroe has reopened under new management.

Edisford Bridge Country Pub in Edisford Road was previously run by Zoe and Tony Shelmerdine when they took over the venue last November.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the pub was under new management with a new menu on offer.

The pub started serving food on November 15 and has already received enthusiastic reviews from loyal customers.

The new managers hinted at some changes at the pub, including quicker service and the return of some ‘Edisford favourites’.

In a statement posted on the pub’s social media, they said: “The Edisford Bridge is under new management.

“We will be reopening with a brand new menu and you may see some familiar faces.

“Stay tuned for our brand new menu including some old Edisford Bridge classics like the homemade suet steak pudding!”

The managers have reintroduced the Edisford Bridge quiz which returns today, Thursday, November 23, starting at 8pm.

It costs £1 per person and complementary food will be served after the quiz for players.

A new Sunday lunch service has also been announced as part of the new menu offers as well as extra large steak pudding bowls on the specials board.

More details of new plans for the Edisford Bridge Country Pub can be found on their social media.
