Drugs and a weapon have been seized from a vehicle on the M55.
Police ordered the driver of the vehicle on the M55 to stop this morning, Sunday (November 12), after it was said to have been travelling at a slow speed and swerving.
The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs and also had no licence or insurance, according to police.
They tested positive for an instant-readout on a disposable drug detection product.
Three people were arrested after police searched the vehicle and found drugs, cash and a weapon.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Road Police said: "Another vehicle from #T3RPU ‘s night shift.
"This one, travelling at slow speed and swerving on the M55.
"Vehicle stopped, driver had no licence, no insurance and was positive on DrugWipeUK.
"On searching the vehicle a quantity of drugs, cash and a weapon found.
"Three arrested."
