Police are appealing for witnesses after a young woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Darwen.
The incident happened at around 10.20am on Thursday, November 2. It was on the 504 bus service. It was reported that a woman was approached by a man and assaulted.
Police are now hoping to speak with any witnesses.
Two girls on the bus, one wearing a black hoodie and the other a pink hoodie, spoke to the victim afterwards to check on her welfare
A man, wearing a white zip-up hoodie, is thought to have witnessed what happened.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses after a young woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Darwen.
“It happened around 10.20am on Thursday, November 2, on the 504 bus service, when the woman was approached by a man and subjected to an assault.
“Two girls on the bus, one wearing a black hoodie and the other a pink hoodie, spoke to the victim afterwards to check on her welfare.
“A man on the bus, wearing a white zip-up hoodie, is thought to have witnessed what happened.
“We would ask them to contact police, so too any other passengers on the bus who might have been witnesses.”
