A celebrity property expert visited a Barrow furniture store earlier this week to film a television show.
George Clarke, known for work on Channel 4 shows such as George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and The Restoration Man, visited Loom Loft Furniture and Interiors in Barrow Brook Business Village.
Tracy Leeming, marketing manager for the furniture store, which is near Clitheroe, and said he spent around three hours filming in the store.
It was reported that a Ribble Valley couple are building a new home and were looking for new furniture to put in the house, for a TV show that is set to air next year.
Tracy said: “He was absolutely lovely and was chatting to our customers and having photos taken.
“George and the crew spent around three hours in the store and we treated them to a complimentary lunch in our Loft Bistro.
“We were contacted by a production company asking if they could film at Loom Loft with a couple from the Ribble Valley who are building a new home and were looking for home furniture for a new TV programme that George is launching and will be on air next year.”
More details about the show are currently unknown.
Since posting the photo to its Facebook page, many George Clarke fans have flooded the comments.
One person said: “That’s me well and truly jealous - I love him!”
“Love George. He's a legend,” said another.
A third commenter said: “Please tell me he was nice. I love George.”
It is not the first time George has been spotted filming in East Lancashire. In August, a Channel 4 film crew came to The Traders Arms in Mellor.
