After following a strong smell of cannabis, police came across a massive farm worth £150,000i n Fleetwood.
Police came across the cannabis farm on Victoria Street yesterday (November 7) after noticing a small and “suspicious” electrical wiring.
Officers found a significant cannabis grow, with an estimated value of £150,000.
Electricity North West attended due to concerns of the electricity being bypassed.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “Yesterday evening (Tuesday, November 7), the Fleetwood neighbourhood policing team were proactively patrolling around Fleetwood.
“Officers noticed suspicious electrical wiring near some properties and a strong smell of cannabis, on Victoria Street.
“Upon entering, officers found a significant cannabis grow. The plants have an estimated value of up to £150,000.
“Due to concerns with the electricity being bypassed, Electricity North West attended the property to make the area safe.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
