Fire engines from across the region rushed to a blaze at a business in Blackburn.
The incident happened at around 8pm on Saturday (November 4) on Highfield Road, just off Bolton Road.
Firefighters are using one hose reel jet and lighting to extinguish the fire. Residents were asked to their keep windows and doors closed and avoid the area, where there are number of small industrial units and garages.
Fire fighters Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn were in attendance for an hour and ten minutes.
Crews were also called to Staffa Crescent to tackle and outbuilding fire and were in attendance for forty five minutes.
Elsewhere across the county at 5.30pm, four fire engines from Preesall, Bispham, Garstang and Lancaster attended a fire in the open on Wheel Lane, Pilling. The fire involved a large quantity of tyres.
At 4:18, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Leyland attended a domestic building fire on Mile Stone Meadow, Euxton.
One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation by North West Ambulance Service.
