A shop is being transformed into a winter wonderland to mark the launch of its Christmas range.
Age Concern Central Lancashire, a dementia charity for over 65s, is hosting a "Glitz and Glam" event on Thursday, November 9.
The event is the launch of the Leyland Shop’s Christmas range and is popular with families every year.
The shop will offer an extensive selection of decorations, gifts, accessories for an affordable price that supports a charitable cause.
All proceeds from the event will support the work at Age Concern Central Lancashire by contributing to the vital support the charity provides to older adults across the county.
The event will be “transformed into a winter wonderland, full of incredible seasonal stock” where shoppers can “immerse themselves in the festive spirit, surrounded by glittering decorations, twinkling lights, and plenty of exciting Christmas gifts".
A spokesperson for Age Concern Lancashire said: “This event more than ever before acts as a lifeline for families looking to shop for Christmas that may not be fortunate enough to buy all of the newest, latest and biggest gifts and seasonal items for themselves or their homes.
“We really want the next event to be a success, and we want as many families as possible to know Christmas can be made that little bit easier.
“Join us on Thursday, November 9, from 9am to 5pm.
"This one-day-only event is your exclusive opportunity to shop the latest Christmas stock, which launches on the very same day.
“Don’t miss out on the chance to be among the first to discover this season’s must-have items.”
The event is located at the Leyland Shop at 2-4 Towngate, Leyland.
