A picture has emerged of a road in Skerton that has been targeted by a fly-tipper.
Police are now appealing for information about what happened.
The fly-tipping occurred in the Green Lane area, on Tuesday, October 24, at around 1pm.
It is believed that a lorry tipped the rubbish over the road.
Police are now appealing for information and will be passing details onto the council, where they hope to prosecute the person(s) responsible.
A police spokesperson said: “Were you in the area of Green Lane, Skerton on Tuesday afternoon at around 1pm and witnessed a lorry illegally tip a load of rubbish all over the road?
We need to pass these details onto environment health at the council to help identify and prosecute the driver.”
