Burnley Football Club is on the hunt for “confident and optimistic” drummer to get supporters excited on matchdays.
The football club is hiring a drummer “to creating a lively matchday atmosphere to create a memorable experience for supporters” during matches.
Drummers are a common sight at American sports fixtures, which could be a sign of the club's US ownership rubbing off on matchdays at Turf Moor.
According to the job description, which is listed on the UK Sport website, the ideal candidate will be sociable and have experience of drumming or playing percussion instruments.
The part time role would require the successful candidate to work both evenings and weekends when the Clarets have matches at Turf Moor.
As a drummer the ideal candidate will be expected to be reactive to what is happening on the pitch and help to create a “lively matchday atmosphere in order to create a memorable experience for supporters”.
After a dream 2022/23 season, Burnley have found their return to the Premier League tough going so far, winless at home and sat 18th in the table after eight games.
