A Blackburn community centre is to host a special Halloween themed event next week for all the family.
The family pumpkin picking event will take place at Mill Hill Community Centre in New Chapel Street, Blackburn, on Monday, October 23, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
At the spooktacular event, families can pick pumpkins ahead of Halloween on October 31 thanks to the Deaf Village, which is also hosting a carving workshop to perfect those Jack O’ Lanterns.
There will also be a soup making workshop, while the Lancashire Wildlife Trust will be running sessions to make bird feeders, to keep our feathered friends fed over the coming winter months.
There will also be a tombola, and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust is also supporting the event, which is being coordinated by the Billy Project.
