A pub in Cliviger is set to be taken over by new management next month, as the current pub group in charge steps down.
In a statement, pub group Stonegate - which currently runs the pub - said The Ram Inn is to be taken over by new management in November.
It is not yet known who the new operator will be.
The pub is set to close briefly while the change over takes place. Once the new operator is in place the pub will trade and operate as normal.
A spokesperson from Stonegate Group said: “The Ram Inn will be taken over by new management in November and will briefly close whilst this change over takes place.
“Once the new operator is in place, the pub will continue to trade and operate as normal. Please visit the pub’s website and social media for further information.”
The Ram Inn is a traditional coaching house, dating back to the early 17th century.
It has retained a lot of its original features, including a stone, horse mounting block close to its entrance.
The pub also boasts a spacious beer-garden, with a children’s play area. The pub is in a tranquil setting with views of Thieveley Pike and the Cliviger Gorge.
It is also a dog-friendly pub and even has its own dog menu.
