New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Burnley venues, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a new five out of five hygiene rating, and four eateries three out of five food hygiene ratings.
The first is the Illuminati, in Hammerton Street, which was given the maximum score after assessment on September 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report stated the eatery is good in all areas.
Bellissimo, in Parker Lane, was given a rating of three out of five by inspectors.
They visited the coffee shop and bistory to conduct their assessment on September 12.
The inspection report stated the management of food safety is good whilst the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are generally satisfactory.

MFA Bowling, in Finsley Gate, was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 8.
The inspection report stated the hygienic food handling is good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory at the bowling alley.
Two Burnley takeaways have also been handed new three-out-of-five food hygiene ratings after inspections.
These were Naafiah Grill & Pizza, a takeaway in Colne Road, which was visited on October 5, and Millennium Pizza & Kebab House, in Hebrew Road, which was assessed on September 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of Burnley's 151 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 103 (68 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
