A man had to be taken to hospital after being slashed in the head and neck.
Police were called to High Street in Blackpool, just close to Blackpool North Station, at around 8.15pm on Monday (October 9), following reports of an attack.
Officers found a man, is in his 40s, with slash wounds to his head and neck.
Thankfully his injuries are not life threatening but he was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called to High Street, Blackpool, at 8.14pm yesterday (October 9) to reports a man in his 40s had been found with slash wounds to his head and neck.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made. This is being treated as an isolated incident between parties known to each other."
