Families are looking forward to Halloween more than ever as spooky season has now arrived, with pumpkin picking events happening all over Lancashire.
To get you in the spirit, we have rounded up some of the pumpkin patches you can visit in the borough.
Pumpkin Patch, Mrs Dowson's Farm Park

Visit Mrs Dowson’s premium pumpkin patch this Halloween for a picture-perfect instagrammable adventure.
Choose from three acres of homegrown pumpkins, including 12 rare, imported varieties.
Tickets also include full farm admission so customers can go and explore some of the animals the farm park has to offer.
Ridgeway Farm 5th Pumpkin Festival
Peel Road, Blackpool, FY4 5JX
15 October – 29 October
The Ridgeway Farm Pumpkin Festival is back for its fifth year and it is said to be bigger and better than before.
After picking your own pumpkin you can transport it in one of the very stylish wheelbarrows and decorate it.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for just £7.50 for adults and £8.95 for children, including both entry to the farm and a pumpkin.
Bowland Wild Boar Park

There’s plenty of Halloween activities taking place at Bowland Wild Boar Park this October including Pumpkin Picking and carving, fancy dress competitions, scavenger hunts and much more.
Pumpkins & Picnics returns to Ribble Valley Retreat this autumn.
Bring a picnic and head down to enjoy some seasonal family fun including pumpkin picking, crafts, carving and a spooky trail.

Windmill Animal Farm
Fish Lane, Burscough, L40 1UQ
7 – 29 October
Farmer Chris has planted over 20,000 pumpkins at Windmill Animal Farm ready to be picked this October.
Tickets to this event are limited and each year is a sellout.
Each ticket includes a full day admission to the farm, all animal interactions and the brand-new Runaway Farm Train.
New for 2023 you can now experience The Runaway Farm Train and the new family of Maize Monsters.
The famous Pumpkin Picking Adventure is where all visitors get to pick their own pumpkin from the same field they are grown in.
One pumpkin is included per ticket, but if that’s not enough you are welcome to purchase more pumpkins on the day.
