Police are concerned for the welfare of a man who has been missing for a few days.
John Airey, 41, of Blackburn was last seen a few days ago wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and possibly slip-on Sketchers.
John, who works as a revenues and benefits administration officer for Blackburn with Darwen Roads, often wears a plain black baseball cap and a black coat.
He is 5ft 10, slim build and wears glasses.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We are asking for your help to find John Airey who is missing from Blackburn.
“Any immediate sightings of John, please call 999. Information as to where he might be, contact 101 – quoting log 1503 of October 1 – or email forcecontrolroom@lancashire.police.uk”
A spokesperson for Blackburn with Darwen Roads said: "The family of John Airey, a long-standing and valued member of staff here at the Council, have sadly reported him as officially missing.
"John, 41, from Blackburn, who works as a revenues and benefits administration officer, has been missing from home since Saturday."
