Age UK Lancashire is hosting a Fashion Show Fundraiser at Mitton Hall, in the Ribble Valley, to raise money to support older people that are isolated, lonely and suffer from long-term health conditions.
On Wednesday, October 4, the fashion show event will show off local Lancashire retailers including Willow Tree Boutique, which will be hosting the catwalk show on the evening, as well as Soul Purpose Jewellery and Selene Co.
Sharon Watson, corporate partnerships and fundraising manager at Age UK Lancashire, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting yet another Fashion Show Event, it gets bigger and better each time.
"The evening is a great opportunity to let your hair down, enjoy yourself and grab yourself a bargain if you want to.
"This year again we have some great clothing available to be bought at an amazing price.
"Every ticket bought goes towards helping older people that need us the most.”
The evening will showcase clothing including brands like Michael Kors, Ax Paris, Karen Millen and Amanda Wakeley, all available for a bargain price.
Age UK Lancashire is a county-wide charity working with and for older people which believes later life should be valued and fulfilling and is a source of advice, information, companionship and support.
It has hosted several fashion show events across Lancashire, and is 'so thankful' to the public and local business that support its events.
Through the services and support it provides, it aims to promote independence, enhance health and well-being and enable older people to access the information they need to make informed decisions about their lives.
Last year the charity reached more than 52,000 people and delivered more than 72,000 hours dedicated to tackling loneliness, enabling older people to live independently and engaging with the most vulnerable older people in the county.
Tickets cost £10 and includes refreshments, and will take place at Mitton Hall, outside Great Mitton, on Wednesday, October 4.
Tickets are available by visiting ageuklancs.org.uk.
