New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Burnley’s eating establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it is good news for them all.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated eight eateries new five out of five hygiene ratings.
Two takeaways were among those visited most recently by inspectors.
Burnley, was rated a five after inspection on September 7.
Yui's Thai Kitchen in Padiham Road,The eatery’s inspection report states it is good in all areas.
The Dolphin in Oxford Road, Burnley, was also rated a five after inspection on September 4.

Six Burnley cafes, restaurants or canteens have also been awarded five out of five hygiene ratings.
Francescos In Burnley in Padiham Road, Burnley, was given the rating of five after inspection on September 15.

St Peter's Church (Kitchen) at St Peters Church, Church Street, Burnley, was rated a five out of five on September 14.
Pastablends at Market Hall, Curzon Street, Burnley, was rated a five after inspection on September 13 and was rated good in all areas.
Cafe At The Corner in Boot Way, Burnley, was rated five on September 12 and was rated good in all areas.
Down Town Kitchen & Café at Unit 83, Market Hall, Curzon Street, Burnley, was also rated a five after inspection on September 5.
Finally, Elles Deli in Manchester Road, Burnley, was rated five out of five on September 5.
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
