Trains between Preston and Blackpool North are being cancelled or delayed due to a fallen tree on the power lines.
Lines are blocked near Kirkham & Wesham due to the tree.
Services through this station will be cancelled or delayed by up to one hour and disruption is currently expected until at least 1pm.
A spokesperson for Northern said: "Services are currently unable to run between Preston and Blackpool North in both directions. This impacts our services between Manchester Airport & Blackpool North, Liverpool Lime Street & Blackpool North and York & Blackpool North.

"Services between Preston and Blackpool South are now unable to run. This severely impacts our Blackpool North routes beyond Preston due to trains and train crew being out of position.
"Network Rail have now inspected the site and confirm a tree has impacted the overhead wires, this will need repairing."
Passengers are able to use Blackpool Transport services with their current tickets.
There is also ticket acceptance on TransPennine Express services between Preston and Manchester Airport, and Avanti West Coast services between Wigan North Western and Preston.
