Blackpool Zoo is giving the public the chance to name a baby orangutan.
The male orangutan is a critically endangered Bornean orangutan and his arrival was the zoo’s first in more than 20 years.
After keepers struggled to come up with a name for him, they turned to the public to ask for help.
Keepers at the zoo will read through all the suggestions and pick the orangutan’s name before announcing it by the end of September.

The donation can be of any amount but the zoo suggests a minimum of £2 via the JustGiving page which can be found here.
To make a name suggestion, you need to make your donation and write the name you are suggesting in the message box.
The person with the winning name suggestion will receive a free family ticket so they can see the orangutan at the zoo.
