Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a driver was robbed at knifepoint in Clayton-le-Woods.
Officers were called at approximately 5.20pm on Thursday, August 30, to the scene of a robbery on Chorley Old Road, near to the closed-down Dog Inn pub.
A man driving a black Honda car stopped his car after seeing a woman stood in the middle of the road.
When he stopped, two men approached the car and threatened the driver with knives, the woman also joining in with the robbery.
The man’s mobile phone and bank card were taken.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a car driver was robbed at knifepoint in the Clayton-le-Woods area.
DC Ged Haselden of Lancashire Police, said: “We are keen to identify any witnesses and vehicles which were in the area – particularly a burnt orange-coloured VW Golf and a white Audi SUV.
“Anyone with dashcam footage from the area between 5.20pm and 5.40pm on August 30, please contact us.
“This was a robbery with knives involved and we want to bring the offenders to justice.”
