Police were called to a crash today (September 4) after a man was trapped under a trailer in Higham.
There were also reports of the fire service and an air ambulance in the area.
Officers were called to Higham Hall Road at around 1.47pm.
Emergency services found a man in his 70s trapped under a trailer.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and there is not thought to be any third party involvement.”
Two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson were in attendance and crews used a Tirfor winch to move a vehicle.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called to Higham Hall Road, Higham, at 1.47pm today (September 4) following reports of a road traffic collision.
“Emergency services have attended and found a man in his 70s trapped under a trailer.
“His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and there is not thought to be any third-party involvement.”
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended this incident.
“Firefighters were called to assist North West Ambulance Service with a casualty following a road traffic collision.
“Crews used a Tirfor winch to move a vehicle. They were in attendance for around half an hour.”
