New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Burnley’s food venues, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and its good news for them all.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated all three eateries a five out of five rating.
Real Coffee Bean at the Old Red Lion Hotel in Manchester Road, Burnley, was rated after inspection on August 22.
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.

Drippers, in Briercliffe Road, Burnley, was also rated a five after inspection on August 10.
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
Finally, the George IV in Padiham Road, Burnley, was rated a five after inspection on August 10.
The inspection report states the management of food safety is very good whilst both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are both good.
