New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Blackburn with Darwen establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it's good news for them all.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated all eight eateries a five out of five hygiene rating.
Six restaurants, cafes or canteens have recently been handed five out of five ratings.
Chai Station, in Cherry Street, Blackburn received the rating after inspection on August 30.
Haute Dolci, Church Street, Blackburn; was also rated on August 30.
Both venues were praised as good in all areas, which is great news for their customers.
Khyber Cafe, in Whalley Range, Blackburn, was also rated a five out of five on August 30.
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.

The Firepit Restaurant in Cathedral Square, Blackburn, was also rated a five on August 30.
Subway at Blackburn railway station was rated a five after inspection on August 29.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.
Temple of Fun in Wood Street, Darwen; was rated five out of five on August 29.
The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.
Two ratings have also recently been handed to takeaways – which have also been rated a five out of five.
Cheung Wing Fish and Chips in Accrington Road, Blackburn; was rated a five after inspection on August 30.

Finally, McDonald's in Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn, was rated a five after inspection on August 25.
The inspection report states the eatery is very good in all areas.
