The headteacher of an Islamic Girls’ school has praised the achievements of her pupils on GCSE results day.
Al-Islah Girls’ High School based on Audley Range was commended for have made ‘outstanding progress’.
Many of the students received Grade 7 and above in their subjects with a number of high performers receiving Grade 8s and 9s.
All pupils will go on to further education.
Headteacher, Mrs Nikhat Pardesi said: “It is always an enjoyable morning sharing success and celebrating with pupils who have realised their potential in academic studies as well as developing into well rounded British Muslim citizens.
“Well done to all our pupils who have received their results and we wish them all the best in their further studies.
“We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students.
"Our teachers and students have worked tirelessly this year to achieve outstanding outcomes which allow students to progress onto further education and study.
The school said admissions for September 2024 are now open.
School Open Day Events will take place on Friday 6 October: 10am – 3pm and Saturday 7 October: 11am – 3pm
